- Fair Food Jules has joined Fair Food. Fair Food was founded in 2001 to build a sustainable and humane local food economy by spreading local purchasing practices.

- Operation Gratitude. We collected over 4,000 lbs. of candy for our Operation Gratitude Halloween candy drive this year for troops overseas. Thank you all for another successful drive!

- "We've got a Winner" -- We're delighted to announce the 2010 customer pie contest winner, Dave and Donna of Doylestown. Their winning Chickpea Salad Pie was unanimously selected by our panel of local food critics. This year, Jules received over 180 entries.

- Jules Danville was recently recognized as being a participant in the Central Contra Costa County Food Recycling Project. Only a handful of businesses were part of this pilot project and over 1800 tons of food waste were diverted from the landfill due to our combined efforts.
What is the Food Recycling Project? The first program of its kind in Contra Costa County, the Food Recycling Project converts local food waste into clean and renewable energy. We joined this program as a way to further reduce our carbon footprint. Thus far, we have been successful at diverting over 5 tons of food waste from the landfill since May.
- In August 2009 Jules together with Doylestown Food Pantry
began donating their organic thin crust pizza to the
families of Bucks County. As part of their ongoing
commitment to help local community, Jules is delighted to
further this relationship by announcing a direct approach
and assisting 4 families per year (or one every 3 months).
Jules will provide the family with mix of fresh organic
produce, cookies, goat cheese, fresh fruit every 3 weeks, as well as full complimentary dining at any of their 3
restaurants.
- Here's a couple of great shots of the kids of Glenside Elementary who won the Jules Pizza Party for collecting the most candy for the recent Treats for Troops candy collection! Over 4,000 pounds of candy was collected and is currently being boxed and shipped and will be delivered to our troops by Thanksgiving.

- Provolone, mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, olives, ricotta, basil, oregano, and
garlic.

- Meat #4: balsamic BBQ chicken, caramelized onions, mozzarella, portobello, chives with potatoes and sour cream
- We now offer Maine Root Beer made from organic, free range ingredients.
- We now use Wellshire Farms Bacon which is Gluten-free, nitrate-free and ORGANIC.
- It's Harvest Time! We will be receiving seasonal produce from local Bucks County Farms including Swallow Hill, Blooming Glen, Blue Moon Acres and Just One Seed.
- We are delighted to announce that Kimberly Lai's pie has won our pie contest. Kimberly's pie, with Chicken, Portabella mushroom, carmalized onion,and mozzarella and topped with a balsamic/barbecue sauce was unanimously voted number one by our outside panel of local food critics from the Intelligencer, Bucks County Herald and other local foodies. This was a fun exercise and we appreciate everyone's participation.
